Terms and Conditions

COVID-19

We’re hoping the event will go ahead as planned. However, if COVID-19 travel bans or restrictions mean we must cancel or change our in-person program to online only, we will offer all registrants a full refund or partial refund (if you choose to transfer to an online ticket.) Our detailed policy for changes due to COVID-19 are as follows:

By registering for the event, you acknowledge that the event may be scheduled during a time at which one or more NSW Government, Doltone House or University of Sydney directions or regulations may be in force. If that is the case, entry conditions may be imposed and/or the number of persons permitted to be in or around the venue may be affected, resulting in the Event Organiser being required to or deciding to:

1.    cancel or change elements of the event, including moving to an online format;
2.    reduce the number of persons who may attend the event;
3.    advise registered attendees of any guidelines on entry conditions as specified by the NSW Government, Doltone House or the University of Sydney.

If the event is cancelled, or affected by COVID-19 as per above, you will be entitled to a full refund. The Event organiser will notify registered attendees via email to provide options for a full refund, or a transfer to an online ticket (including part refund to cover the price difference between in-person and virtual tickets).

Your safety and the safety of all attendees is our priority. As a registrant, you agree to comply with all NSW Government, Doltone House and/or University of Sydney directions, orders and regulations relevant to attending events, which may be in place at the time of the event.

All registrants must commit to stopping the spread of COVID-19. If at the time of the event, you are feeling unwell or are subject to a self-quarantine or self-isolation period, you agree not to attend the event.

CANCELLATIONS

We hope everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, we know that extenuating circumstances do occur. Our cancellation and refund policies (excluding those shown above for COVID-19 travel bans or restrictions) are as follows:

Cancellations will only be considered when received in writing to info.sqa@sydney.edu.au.

There will be no penalty for cancellations received on or before the 28th January 2022. The full amount paid will be refunded.

From the 29th January 2022 to 11th February 2022, a cancellation fee of 30% of registration costs will be applied.

Registrants cancelling after the 12th February 2022 will not receive a refund unless your cancellation was due to a verifiable emergency medical issue. Please provide this written information and evidence as soon as possible to info.sqa@sydney.edu.au.

In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled, all refunds of ticket sales will be processed within thirty (30) days of cancellation.
